Bids are requested for ODOT Item 441 Asphalt Surface Course with stipulated Traffic Control on 1.01 miles of roads in York Township, Medina County, Ohio The Engineer's Estimate for the base bid is $ 257,363.00. No contract shall be awarded at a price more than ten percent in excess of the Engineer's estimate. All proposals shall be submitted electronically through web service The improvement project shall have final completion date of September 2nd, 2024. Each bidder shall be required to file a bid guaranty with the bid in the form of either: (1) a Bid/Performance Bond in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the amount bid; or (2) a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Letter of Credit shall equal to 10% of the amount bid, conditioned that the bidder shall, if his bid is accepted, execute a contract in conformity with the bid, plans, details, specifications and bills of material. A Letter of Credit shall be revocable only at the option of the Township. Bidders must comply with Prevailing Wage Rates as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Labor and Worker Safety and detailed in the Bid Documents. The bid will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder. The York Township Trustees reserve the right to reject any and all bids. Quantities included on final invoices will be subjected to approval by the Township.
