As of May 8, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded, start date is June or July. Bids are invited to supply and perform the following equipment and work (summary). General Construction involves installing and furnishing one (1) duplex submersible pump station (including precast wet well, valve pit, manholes and miscellaneous piping, fittings, valves, and appurtenances), and demolition and remediation of the existing pump station. Some parts will be provided by Millcreek Township. Bidders or vendors requesting next day or special mailing will be responsible for all mailing or shipping charges. Bidders must be on record at the issuing office as an official plan holder. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons or companies who have purchased a full set of Contract Documents. Bidders may mail their Bid Forms to us in time for the Bid opening. Each Bid must be submitted on the Bid Form provided in the bidding documents and accompanied by a Bid guarantee in the form of a certified or cashier's check or Bid bond with corporate surety payable to Millcreek Township in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Bid price. Bidders are advised that this Project is subject to the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry Prevailing Wage Rate Determinations. The Wage Rate Determinations provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry are included in the Contract Documents. Bids shall remain open and valid for a period of 60 days from the date of opening unless award is delayed by a required approval from a governmental agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which event the Bids shall remain open for a period of 120 days from the Bid opening. Bids may not be withdrawn during this period. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Owner in writing
