Site work for a civil project in Shell Lake, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Major components of the Work include: Construction of approximately 389 LF of 8-inch Sanitary Sewer Construction of approximately 413 LF of 6-inch Force Main Construction of submersible lift station and valve vault Abandonment of existing sewer, lift station, and valve structure Bids for the furnishing of all labor and material for the construction of Improvements to the Bosch Lift Station, including construction of new sanitary sewer, force main, and submersible lift station and associated site improvements. Major components of the Work include: Construction of approximately 389 LF of 8inch Sanitary Sewer Construction of approximately 413 LF of 6inch Force Main Construction of submersible lift station and valve vault Abandonment of existing sewer, lift station, and valve structure Any person monitoring the meeting remotely may be responsible for any documented costs. Message and data rates may apply. Prospective bidders must be on the plan holders list for bids to be accepted. Bids shall be completed according to the Bidding Requirements prepared by SEH dated March 2024.Bidding Documents may be seen at SEH located at 156 High Street, Suite 300, New Richmond, WI 54026, Jeremiah Wendt, 715.531.8063, jwendt@sehinc.com. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Use of American Iron and Steel: The Contract requires the use of American Iron and Steel products. Iron and steel products means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and construction materials. Contractor will be required to provide Owner documentation of the use of American Iron and Steel. Contractors on the Project shall be required to comply with the minimum wages and labor standards, and conditions of employment to be observed, as determined by the Federal Davis-Bacon wage rates, under the Contract. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under contract. Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action requirements apply to this Project (E.O. 11246). The Owner encourages MBEs, WBEs, and SBRAs to submit Bid proposals. Bidders Proof of Responsibility must be submitted to SEH in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Shell Lake reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the City.
