Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Chaska, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
In general and pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, chapter 429, the work consists of the construction of sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer and street construction with approximately the following quantities: . 2,000 LF of 12" to 27" RCP Storm Sewer Pipe . 850 LF of 8" PVC Sanitary Sewer Pipe . 1,800 LF of 6" to 16" PVC Watermain Pipe . 4,000 LF of 4" Drain Tile . 3 EA Sanitary Sewer Manholes . 20 EA Storm Sewer Manholes . 6,500 CY of Common Excavation . 5,500 CY of Common Embankment . 8,500 TN of Aggregate Base . 6,500 CY of Select Granular Borrow . 9,000 SY of Geotextile Road Fabric . 2,800 TN of Bituminous Course Mixtures . 4,000 LF of Concrete Curb and Gutter . 13,000 SF of Concrete Sidewalk and Medians . 4 ACRE of Hydraulic Soil Stabilizer Along with miscellaneous utility improvements, removals, restoration, signing, striping, clearing and grubbing, and correlated appurtenances. This will be a prevailing wage project. Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent of the amount of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and further reserves the right to award the Contract to the best interests of the Owner.
