This Request for Tenders (the RFT) is issued by the Corporation of the County of Peterborough (the "County") on behalf of the following Participating Agencies: Township of Asphodel-Norwood, Township of Douro-Dummer, Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen, and Township of North Kawartha (the "Townships/Municipalities") for the provision of the Supply, Delivery and Application of Liquid Calcium Chloride, Liquid Magnesium Chloride or Liquid Calcium-Magnesium Blend on municipal roads. Additionally, this Request for Tenders (the RFT) is issued by the Corporation of the County of Peterborough (the "County") on behalf of the following Participating Agency: Municipality of Trent Lakes and The Township of Cavan Monaghan for the provision of Delivery and/or Supply of Liquid Calcium Chloride, Liquid Magnesium Chloride or Liquid Calcium-Magnesium Blend. The Municipality of Trent Lakes and The Township of Cavan Monaghan will determine the level of service they require, whether that be Delivery Only, Supply Only, or Delivery and Supply. The County's Purchasing By-Law, procedures and/or policies shall govern the bid solicitation process through to the recommendation of Award on behalf of all Participating Agencies. References within the County's bid document that refer to Townships/Municipalities, etc. shall have meaning to include all Participating Agencies in this bid solicitation. Each Participating Agency will enter into their own separate agreements and will follow their own Agency's Award procedures which will be based on the recommendation of Award provided by the County and agreed to by all Participating Agencies. The start and end dates of the Award will be as noted within this Bid Document, regardless of when each Agency obtains Award approval from their respective authorities and begins making acquisitions. Each Agency may have unique requirements or forms that the Successful Bidder must complete or provide related to vendor set up or payment processing. These requirements will be communicated to the Awarded Vendor upon notice of Award. Duration in months: 8
