Renovation of an educational facility in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The District Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids. Refer to the formal Bid Documents and specifications for additional information, terms, and conditions. The DISTRICT reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept or reject any one or more items of a bid, or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding process. Work of this contract comprises repainting the entire school site including but not limited to the following: All buildings, covered walkways, ornamental fencing, exposed conduits and pipe, louvers, vent covers and light standards are included unless specially excluded elsewhere. Buildings (including the underside of the eves) to include stucco, wood, sheet metal fascia, down spouts sheet metal closures panels, rain gutters, hollow metal doors and frames, and exterior wood doors and frames. Items excluded are any existing roof vent, HVAC equipment and platforms any galvanized or aluminum items that are not currently painted shall remain unpainted. Signage, light fixtures, fire alarm devices, door hardware and other building mounted appurtenances can remain on the structure to be painted. B. The Contractor shall remove all existing mechanically fastened signage prior to painting, properly stored and protected and reinstalled once painting is complete. C. The Contractor shall mask all existing adhesive mounted signage prior to painting and remove and dispose of all masking materials once painting is complete D. The Contractor shall protect in place all logos, signage, banners, medallions etc. that are painted on the building surface. At these locations the contractor shall cut-in by hand around these items and mask them off when painting the surrounding areas. E. All existing hollow metal doors, door frames and window frames shall be painted the same color as the wall in which they occur. F. All existing hollow metal doors and frames shall be painted the same color on both sides (inside/out). G. All sides (including the top) of existing storage containers shall be prepped and painted. H. The Contractor shall paint all exterior wall mounted piping, conduit, downpours, etc. the same color as the adjacent wall. I. The Contractor shall paint all existing ornamental steel fences and gates with industrial gloss black paint. J. The Contractor shall paint all exposed steel and framing elements with industrial gloss paint. K. Any unfinished concrete columns or other unfinished concrete elements shall be protected in place. L. The Contractor shall paint all metal swinging gates. M. The Contractor shall paint bollards safety yellow. N. The Contractor shall paint and match existing color for Hydrants. O. The Contractor shall clean up all over spray, spills, drips, drops, etc. to the satisfaction of the District.
