Work Contemplated to Be Performed Under This Contract is as Follows: O Constructing Approximately 13,900 Lf of Ductile Iron Water Mains, O Constructing Approximately 1,300 Lf of Earthquake Resistant Ductile Iron Pipe Water Mains, O Constructing Approximately 1,100 Lf of Hdpe Water Mains, O Installing New Fire Hydrant Assemblies, O Installing Replacement Water Services, O Constructing a Replacement Pressure Reducing Station in a Concrete Vault, O Rehabilitate Existing Pressure Reducing Station, O Construction Dewatering, O Relocating Existing Utilities (as Required), O Abandoning Asbestos Cement Pipe, O Restoring Surface Conditions, Including Asphalt Trench Patching and Concrete Curbs, Gutters, and Sidewalks, O Performing Traffic Control, O Other Work as Required to Complete the Project. Bid Bond Required: Each Bid Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond in the Form of Cash, Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Surety Bond in an Amount Equal to at Least 5% of the Amount of Such Bid. Checks Shall Be Made Payable to the City Treasurer. Should the Successful Bidder Fail to Enter Into a Contract and Furnish a Satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond Within the Time Stated in the Specifications, the Bid Bond Shall Be Forfeited to the City of Bellevue.
