The Town of Vienna, VA seeks bids from qualified general contractors to complete minor building renovations at our Nutley Property Yard. Contractors will provide their bid to complete the work based on their estimating and experience. A mold remediation report is complete and is being used to remediate mold as a separate solicitation/job. Drywall will be removed in the restroom and will be a part of this solicitation to replace and paint. This should make it easier to relocate fixtures in the restroom. Please see bid table for the items/work to be completed. The Town has a budget for this work and the Town may not be able to complete all of the items listed in Bid Table this fiscal year. The Town will decide which items are most important and the order of the work. Remaining items not completed in the first round of renovations may likely be done in the new fiscal year starting July 1, 2024. All exterior punches through walls where piping is removed, screw holes, and other breaches shall be re blocked, patched so that the wall is waterproof. While mandatory, the purpose of this meeting is to allow potential offerors an opportunity to present questions and obtain clarification relative to this solicitation. Any changes resulting from this meeting will be issued in the question and answer section or in a written addendum to the solicitation. The Town of Vienna reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept the bid(s) which, in its judgment, will be for its best interest. NO BID MAY BE WITHDRAWN FOR A PERIOD OF NINETY (90) DAYS SUBSEQUENT TO THE DATE OF THE BID OPENING.
