This work is estimated by the Department of Administration, Public Works Division to be less than $150,000.00. Bid must comply with the below listed requirements and utilize DAPW Form 35. The Contractor shall not commence any additional work or change the scope of the work until authorized in writing by the State. Contractor shall make no claim for additional compensation in the absence of a prior written approval and amendment executed by all signatories hereto. This Contract may only be amended, supplemented or modified by a written document executed in the same manner as this Contract. The Contractor shall not be required to make additional safety tests, install new devices or make modifications to any equipment to comply with the recommendations or directives of insurance companies, governmental bodies or for other reasons unless required in the specifications. Cutting and Patching: Cutting and patching of walls when required to make repairs on concealed piping or wiring is not within the scope of work. A. The Contractor shall provide all labor and material for a preventative maintenance service as specified herein. Contractor to provide all labor and materiel and supervision for a preventative maintenance service as specified herein for Fire Alarm Systems. a. The term of this contract is for 730 days (2 Years) and to cover all required testing and inspections during that time period as required below. b. Work shall be bid as a lump sum for 730 days or 2 Years. The attached supplemental cost sheet is to be filled out and returned with the bid documents. c. Invoices permitted quarterly upon completion of work for that quarter. d. Work shall include providing approved Emergency Services at an additional charge to the contract. Owner Rights: When the bidder adds any provision reserving the right to accept or reject the award, or if the bidder adds conditions or alternates to his bid not requested (voluntary alternates), or if there are unauthorized additions or irregularities of any kind which tend to make the proposal incomplete, indefinite or ambiguous as to its meaning or amount.
