The scope of services generally consists of, but not limited to, providing all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, tools, and supervision necessary to complete and maintain the following items (a) Finish Mowing of approximately 53 acres (b) Bushhog/Rough Cut of approximately 71 acres (c) Trimming/Spraying approx 22,000 feet of fenceline (d) Brush Cutting of approx 6 acres of rough terrain/ditchline to be done in a timely fashion for the duration of the 2024 mowing season. Finish Mowing is to include Trimming around airport lighting infrastructure items and signage. Fenceline trimming is to include application of vegetation control chemical and bushogging or brush cutting at least 6 feet on both sides of the fence to facilitate access. Bidders may bid any or all of the individual items. The Elizabethtown Airport Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to let the contract as a whole or for any part, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received. The successful bidder shall provide performance and payment bonds or bank letter of credit, proof of insurance and licenses as specified. Preference shall be given to Kentucky resident bidders and non-resident bidders from states which do not require preference to resident bidders.
