Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cleveland, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Woodland Central Green Infrastructure site includes two large-scale green infrastructure basins (Woodland Central West and Woodland Central East) constructed by the District in 2018 in the City of Cleveland's Central neighborhood. The basins were designed to capture stormwater runoff from 80 acres of land and prevent approximately 10 million gallons of combined sewage from discharging to the environment in the typical year. The basins help improve water quality of stormwater before discharging it to the Kingsbury Run Culvert System, which conveys flows to the Cuyahoga River upstream of downtown Cleveland. Both basins include formal and naturalized landscape areas, gravel walking paths and other site restoration features to enhance opportunities for passive recreation. The focus of this project is the 10.5-acre Woodland Central West Green Infrastructure (WCWGI) site located at Kinsman Road just east of East 62nd Street in Cleveland (Figure 1). The site is located on a previously abandoned property with known petroleum and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) contamination in the soil. Remediation activities, including a combination of removal and capping, in contaminated soil areas were completed as part of the construction of the basin and surrounding greenspace.
