Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Bridgetown, Prince Edward Island. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The scope of this work includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: the supply of all labour, equipment, and materials necessary to completely replace the existing bridge structure with a new bridge structure. The work on this project shall consist of but not limited to: excavation; slope protection; environmental controls; asphalt excavation; cold plane and stockpile asphalt; demolition and removal of existing structure; steel piles; concrete formwork and accessories; concrete reinforcement; GFRP reinforcement; cast-in-place concrete; precast concrete beams; concrete deck; waterproof membrane, rip rap; gabion baskets; temporary bridge construction and eventual removal; temporary approach road construction and eventual removal; storm sewer, road work complete with asphalt paving; and all other ancillaries required to completely install the structure to the satisfaction of the Owner. The Contractor agrees to complete the work no later than 28 February 2025 for 2024/25 Phase, and 27 June 2025 for Spring 2025 Phase. Documents are available at https://www.princeedwardisland.ca/
