The median age of its residents is approximately 36.9 years. There are over 100,000 jobs in a wide variety of industries in the City of Pasadena. The RBOC manages all aspects of the Rose Bowl Campus. The Rose Bowl Campus is comprised of multiple components, including the Brookside Golf Club, Rose Bowl Stadium, and surrounding grounds. The Rose Bowl Campus is a premier cultural and recreational destination and attracts a wide range of world class sport and entertainment activities and events. In addition to featuring one of the most successful municipal golf courses on the west coast, the Brookside Golf Club, the Rose Bowl Stadium, and surrounding areas, play host to UCLA Football, he annual Rose Bowl Game(R), international soccer games, large concerts and multi-day music festivals. The goal of this project is to replace the sound system serving the Rose Bowl Stadium seating bowl and entry gates. The selected firm will have significant experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining state-of-the art sound systems for sport and entertainment venues, and more specifically large stadiums. The Rose Bowl Stadium has a current capacity of approximately 90,000 and hosts a variety of sport and entertainment events with spectator attendance that can range from 10,000 - 90,000, and thus the implemented system must have the flexibility to provide high quality sound in a myriad of different configurations. Removal of existing equipment may commence no earlier than July 8th, 2024, and complete implementation, including testing of the new system, must occur by no later than September 4th , 2024.
