Remodeling of an educational facility in Jacksonville, Florida. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.

The University of North Florida Board of Trustees, a public body corporate, announces that the services of a Construction Manager are required for the renovation of J. Brooks Brown Hall, Buildings 39 and 39A, at 1 UNF Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32224. The project will include the renovation of the anatomy laboratory, nutrition laboratory, and the building's common spaces. Construction Management Services include: Pre-construction services that include but are not limited to cost estimates, constructability reviews, code compliance, and project schedules; Development of a GMP; Construction services to renovate J. Brooks Brown Hall. The Construction Manager will work with University of North Florida (UNF) staff and the UNF-selected Design Team for the project through the design and construction process. Liquidated damages shall be assessed in the amount of $1,000 for each and every calendar day elapsing between the date fixed for Substantial Completion and the date Substantial Completion shall have been fully accomplished. Bid, Payment, and Performance Bonds will be required with the submission of a Guaranteed Maximum Price. The Contract, if any, may be awarded to that responsible firm(s) who financially and professionally can provide the requested services conforming to the solicitation and which will be most advantageous to the University of North Florida. The University of North Florida reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all proposals and to waive information and minor irregularities in proposals received. The right is reserved to accept a proposal which, after review by the University committee, is considered most advantageous to the University. Question Deadline 04/03/2024 at 12:00 PM ET Response to Questions Tuesday, April 9, 2024 Online. , Q&A Board This contract will commence upon UNF's issuance of a Notice to Proceed (NTP). The selected Contractor shall develop and submit a GMP to UNF's Project Manager (PM) within thirty (30) calendar days of the NTP. Substantial completion shall be achieved within 240 calendar days from commencement. Final Completion shall be achieved within 30 calendar days of substantial completion.
