Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bell Gardens, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the Plans, Specifications, and Contract documents. The general items of work include excavation and/or cold milling of existing AC Pavement, removing AC Pavement, reconstruction of AC Pavement, reconstruction of sidewalk, driveway, curb ramp, alley intersection, curb and gutter, cross gutter, adjust utility manhole frames and covers to finished grade, striping and markings, construction survey, material testing, and all items not mentioned but indicated in the Plans and Specifications. Proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee consisting of cash, a certified or cashier's check or bid bond by an "admitted surety insurer" payable to the AGENCY in the amount not less than 10 percent of the total amount bid. The liquidated damages for this project is five hundred dollars ($500.00) per calendar day the project is not completed within the contract time The AGENCY reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularity and to take all bids under advertisement for a period of sixty (60) days Engineering Cost Estimate: $800,000 Construction Duration: 40 working days Construction Duration: 40 working days Construction Begins May 20, 2024
