The purpose of this project includes identifying, locating and replacing fire protection piping and equipment, as well as installing hangers and supports to securely hold the system components in place, installation of wet and dry pipe sprinkler systems, connecting valves and sprinkler heads and testing sprinkler systems, use of detailed diagrams for laying out piping, sprinkler heads, and control valves. Testing and inspections are conducted to verify system functionality, and necessary adjustments are made to ensure proper operation. All materials, equipment, tools, permiting and labor necessary to complete the work described in, and reasonably inferable from the plans, will be provided by the contractor. Bidders must obtain and review the Bid Documents, including all Attachments and Exhibits, as well as any issued addenda, for full details and instructions regarding submittal format, full scope of services, minimum qualifications and all other information related to this Bid. Construction of the project shall be substantially complete within Two Hundred Forty-Four (244) consecutive calendar days from the date stipulated on the Notice to Proceed. Final completion shall be attained Sixty (60) consecutive calendar days from the date of substantial completion.
