At Binghamton University, $60 million will be used to build a lecture hall, classrooms and a chem lab building. Another $30 million will go toward renovating a science building that houses biology classrooms and labs, and the fine arts building will receive $22 million worth of renovations. University officials will use $11 million on maintenance improvements campus-wide. ________________________________________________ All work on this Contract is to be completed within 180 days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids. This project is for the conversion of the Newing Community existing grass co-rec playing field to synthetic turf including associated upgrades to create a field that is usable throughout the year. Project includes but is not limited to: 1. Demolition work to remove existing site features required to install new work. 2. Earthwork required to prepare work area for proposed work. Installation of a new synthetic turf system with customized logos, lighting systems, concrete sidewalks, storm and electrical utilities, lawns, and other new miscellaneous site amenities associated with the new work. .
