Site work for a water / sewer project in Bowie, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of the following, but is not limited to: the maintenance excavation of an existing SWM pond to provide additional storage and bring the facility to current standards. Riprap protections will be installed at the inflow points and the slopes will be graded back at 3H:1V. Wetland and safety benches will be created to separate the forebays and provide aquatic vegetation. The existing riser structure will be modified to accept the proposed low flow/dewatering system. Summary The City of Bowie, Maryland requests bids to excavate the existing Pin Oak Village Storm water Management Pond located on Elmcrest Lane in Bowie, MD, to provide additional storage and bring the facility to current standards. The City of Bowie reserves the right to reject any bids.
