March 15, 2024 The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC Guaynabo, Puerto Rico), intends to issue a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Notice No. 15B30624Q00000010 for the provisions of Elevator Maintenance Services. This is a Firm-Fixed-Price type of requirement contract. The services will be provided to individuals who are under the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment, located at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) at 652 road 28, Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, 00965-5700. This acquisition is 100% Small Business set aside restricted as to business size. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS code) for this requirement is 238290 - Other Building Equipment Contractors. The associated small business size standard is $19.5 million. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 4.1102 requires all contractors seeking or currently doing business with the government to be registered with the System of Award Management (SAM) prior to award; information can be obtained at https://www.sam.gov/.
