The Carnegie Library of Homestead (Owner) is advertising for bids for the following project: CARNEGIE LIBRARY OF HOMESTEAD MUNHALL BOROUGH PARCEL ID: 0130-M-00278 PHASE 2 RENOVATIONS TO LIBRARY AND MEETING ROOMS MCF Project No. 12723023 PROJECT SITE LOCATION: 510 East 10th Avenue, Munhall, PA 15120 Sealed proposals for the furnishing of all necessary and required labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, and the complete performance of all work shown and specified in the Contracts listed below, are hereby solicited by the Carnegie Library of Homestead. Separate bids shall be submitted for the following Prime Contracts: Contract No. 1: Demolition, Abatement, General Construction, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire and Protection, and Telecommunications and Data. Contract No. 2: Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC). Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. The Bidder agrees that his bid shall be firm, binding, and irrevocable and may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. Bid Security in the amount of ten (10) percent of the Base Bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders, and Supplementary General Conditions. Bidders shall comply with Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wage Rates and other provisions indicated in the bid documents. Bidder shall comply with PA Keystone Grant requirements including the Steel Products Procurement Act, Trade Practices Act and other provisions indicated in the bid documents.
