Renovation of a mixed-use development in Lynwood, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

**As of May 1, 2024 bids were canceled. No definite date for the rebid.** Scope of Work Overview: Install new IP-based PA system including paging server, amplifiers, controller software, and IP speaker endpoints. The system must support multiple zones, bell schedules, synchronization with clocks, VoIP phone integration, pre-recorded announcements, desktop and instant paging microphones. This Project is being let in accordance with the Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (UPCCAA) (specifically, the formal Bidding procedures in Section 22032(c)). All Bidders and their subcontractors must be registered and approved by the State of California Department of Industrial Relations in order to bid on this project. The successful Bidder must possess a valid and active State of California Class C-7 Low Voltage Systems License at the time of Bid and throughout the duration of this Contract. Subcontractors shall be licensed pursuant to California law for the trades necessary to perform the Work called for in the Bid documents. Prequalification is required for this project. As a condition of bidding for this Project, and in accordance with California Public Contract Code section 20111.5, prospective Bidders are required to submit to the District a completed set of prequalification documents on forms provided by the District. Bids will not be accepted if a Bidder has not been prequalified. Prequalification documents are available online. Prequalification documents must be submitted by April 7, 2024 [not less than five days prior to Bid opening date]. Bidders will be notified by email of their prequalification status within a reasonable period of time after submission of their prequalification documents, but not less than one day prior to the Bid opening date. NOTE: Respondents who assisted in the preparation of getting materials or the Scope of Work for solicitation documents of this BID will NOT be eligible to compete for the award work because they will have an undue advantage to all others.
