The City of Delta is requesting quotations from experienced and qualified contractors for the construction of an enclosed off-leash dog park as specified at North Delta Community Park, located at 11415 84 Avenue, Delta. The work generally consists of new fencing, asphalt path, interlocking pavers, and gabion wall and park furnishings. The Scope of Work for this project shall include: 1. Supply and install hoarding around work area and maintain access to existing asphalt path. 2. Supply, install and maintain tree protection fences throughout construction. Tree and Shrub Protection Section 02902 Appendix A. 3. Supply, install and maintain storm protection measures throughout construction (i.e. catch basin socks). 4. Installation of drinking fountain with dog bowl (including drain line and connection to new water service as shown the drawings) on concrete pad by the Contractor (Delta to supply drinking fountain, ELKAY Model: LK4400DBFR with pet station and locking hose bib accessory LK4471LHB). 5. Installation of benches and waste receptacles on concrete pad by the Contractor (Delta to supply benches Wishbone Mountain Classic Bench 6’ long, model: MCB-6 and waste receptacles Hazleton, 3 Stream Recycling Unit EL-003). 6. Supply and install asphalt path, lawn basins, gabion wall (shop drawings required), and split rail fencing with mesh. 7. Supply and install new concrete barrier curb as required. 8. Supply and plant shrubs complete with growing medium as specified. 9. Restore area affected by construction to existing or better condition.
