The Santa Clara Valley Water District (Valley Water) is seeking proposals from qualified firms (Proposers or Contractors) to provide On-call Environmental Site Maintenance Services for general and specialized vegetation and site management service on an on-call or as-needed basis for maintaining Valley Water mitigation, restoration, and environmental enhancement sites (Services). Valley Water intends to award a two-year base term contract with up to three (3) additional one-year options terms, for Services to one or more successful Proposer(s). Firms proposing as the prime Contractor shall possess a valid California State Contractor's License, Classification "C-27". The Project requires a qualified firm to provide on-call, as-needed assistance with maintaining Valley Water mitigation, restoration, and environmental enhancement sites. Assistance is needed primarily in the early stages of mitigation or restoration site development to ensure target vegetation and site conditions are successfully established. For detailed information regarding the required Services, please refer to Exhibit 8 to this RFP. Annual compensation for Contractor's provision of the On-call Services outlined in this solicitation and the resulting agreement shall not exceed $300,000.00. Please note that annual work rates are solely dependent on the business needs of Valley Water; there is no guarantee of work.
