Site work for a mixed-use development in Mobile, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and fitness / recreation center.
The general scope of the work includes but is not limited to: Demolition of the existing wood and wood clad trellis and roof canopies. Provide new steel trellis, prep existing steel for paint and new standing seam roof. Contract Type: A single Prime contract based on a stipulated Price as described in Document DCM Form C-5 Construction Contract (section 00 0500 of Table of Contents). A. Construction Operations: Limited to areas noted on Drawings. B. Provide Access to and from site as required by Law and by Owner: 1. Emergency Building Exits During Construction: Keep all exits required by code open during construction period; provided temporary exit signs if exit routes are temporarily altered. 2. Do not obstruct roadways, sidewalks, or other public ways without permit. C. Existing building may not be used for storage. D. Utility Outages and Shutdown: As outline in Owner's procedures for these activities. 1. Limit disruption of utility services to hours the building is unoccupied. 2. Prevent accidental disruption of utility services to other facilities. 3. Official outage process will be addressed in the Pre-Construction Conference. 4. Fire Watch: Will be required if life safety systems are disrupted
