Renovation of a mixed-use development in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 7,264-square-foot educational facility.

THIS PROJECT INVOLVES THE REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF AN EXISTING ROOF AT EAST BATON ROUGE PARISH SCHOOL SYSTEM TRANSPORTATION OFFICE LOCATED ON THE CORNER OF CHOCTAW DRIVE AND NORTH ARDENWOOD DRIVE, DUE TO WATER INTRUSION. THESE REPAIRS WILL INCLUDE INSTALLING A NEW ROOFING SYSTEM, REMOVE AND REPLACE EXISTING HVAC, AND MODIFYING ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT, AND GAS LINES. The East Baton Rouge Parish School Board has adopted a Fair Share Procurement Policy with a goal of at least twenty (20%) percent participation by MWBEs. The policy and goal apply to this project. Question Deadline 03/29/2024 Bidders and sub-Bidders requests for such interpretations shall be made in writing to the Architect no later than seven (7) working days prior to date and time for receiving bids and failure on the part of the successful Bidder to do so shall not relieve him, as a contractor, of the obligation to execute such work in accordance with a later interpretation by the Architect. This scope will consist of the demolition of the existing roofing system over the EBRPSS Transportation Office building. This scope of work shall also include all necessary removal and / or replacement of existing Mechanical and Electrical equipment in order to replace the roofing system.
