Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Laval, Quebec. Design plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the addition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and municipal facility.

Expansion and renovations of the Laval City Hall heritage building. The scope of work includes partial demolition and asbestos removal work, renovation of the building envelope,replacement of the foundation waterproofing, restoration of the concrete elements on the facade to be retained, renovation of the key heritage elements of the building, redevelopment and complete renovation of the entire building, upgrades of fire-protection equipment, addition of a geothermal heating system, construction of an addition on the edge of Chomedey boulevard to create common spaces and additionap city hall premises. TIMELINE: The owner has awarded a full team of architectural, civil and structural, and mechanical and electrical engineering professional consultants to complete design and construction monitoring of the project following the RFPs DOS-2343, DOS-2344 and DOS-2345, respectively. Preliminary studies and conceptual planning are underway. Preliminary plans are expected to begin in early fall 2024. Schedules for further project development are being finalized.
