The Project consists of: Under a single contract construct the Westwood Elementary Playground & Shade Structure, project for Lodi Unified School District located in Lodi, CA. Demo and offhaul existing play structure, footings, and associated equipment. Install new play equipment (district to select after GC contract is awarded). Install artificial turf and associated substrate. Install new code compliant accessible drinking fountain. When the adjusted construction cost, as defined, is less than or equal to the current valuation threshold, as defined, the cost of compliance with Section 11b-202.4 shall be limited to 20 percent of the adjusted construction cost of alterations, structural repairs, or additions. When the cost of full compliance with section 11b202.4 would exceed 20 percent, compliance shall be provided to the greatest extent possible without exceeding 20 percent. Install 25' x 25' pc fabric shade structure. Height to be sufficient for play structure clearances, labeled on prints as future to be included in bid proposal. Each bidder shall submit with is duly executed Bid Form a set of Manufacturer’s structural and architectural plans and structural calculations for this design bearing a PC previously approved by DSA under the 2022 CBC. Specifications from said previous job are not required. This set shall bear a stamp of approval by DSA. This set shall be provided for determining bidder’s ability to perform within the time limits of this specific project, and shall show the PC number. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California contractors’ license(s): A or B The Bidder's license(s) must remain active and in good standing throughout the term of the Contract. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to the Labor Code.
