Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Austin, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

for "Grading, Water Distribution, Sanitary Sewer, Storm Sewer and Paving Improvements to serve Stallion Run Take 2, Unit 4 for Travis County MUD No. 26, Travis County, Texas" Scope of Work of the Contract Documents includes approximately the following: 24 acres of clearing and grubbing, 4,300 linear feet of 8"-12" water line, 3,500 linear feet of 8", SDR-26 sanitary sewer pipe, 2,600 linear feet of 18"-36" storm sewer pipe, 14,400 square yards of asphalt concrete and 28,800 square feet of 4'-5' concrete sidewalk. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than two percent (5%) of the total amount Bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract Documents and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates and Bonds within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the successful bidder. If a certified or cashier's check is provided, the successful bidder shall deliver, at the office of Westwood Professional Services, 8701 N. Mopac Expressway, Suite 320, Austin, TX 78759, the original certified or cashier's check within one (1) business day of receipt of the bid opening. The Work will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 14.07 of the General Conditions within 120 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run (subject to any phasing requirements described in the General Requirements of the Special Specifications) and final completion 30 calendar days after paving is substantially complete The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except the time for submitting a Bid. The successful bidder, if any, will be the responsible bidder, which in the Board's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project.
