Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Nipissing, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The project is within the Municipality of West Nipissing, more specifically, King Street from Market Street to Ethel Street and Ethel Street from King Street to Main Street. The project generally involves the reconstruction of existing roads and supply, replacement & installation of watermain, sanitary and storm works within King Street and Ethel Street. Work to be performed under this contract may include, but not be limited to: removal and replacement of watermain, services and appurtenances, removal and replacement of sanitary sewers and services, removal of existing and installation of new storm sewers, removals and disposals of existing roadway, excavation, any necessary rock excavation or subgrade reconstruction, road sub-base construction, road base construction, new curb and gutter for existing roadways, sidewalk replacement, asphalt placement, associated driveway and minor road intersection tie-ins, landscaping and reinstatement. Major items and quantities are as follows: - Granular A - Granular B - Curb & Gutter - Sidewalk - Asphalt - Watermain - Storm Sewer - Sanitary Sewer The Contractor shall complete this Contract by October 31st, 2024.
