**As of February 5, 2024, project was awarded to Caldwell Tanks, Inc(Contract 1) & Temple Grading and Construction Company, Inc(Contract 2), total awarded amount is $3,999,140.** The Contract Time for the elevated tank is 450 days. The Contract Time for the Booster Pump Station is 360 days. Bidders must obtain bid documents from the Engineer. The work for "Contract 1: Junny Road 0.50 MG Elevated Tank" includes a 500,000-Gallon steel, single pedestal, spheroidal elevated tank, with 16" yard piping, electrical work, SCADA Panel, chain link fencing and site work, and the demolition of an existing 100,000-gallon steel elevated tank and a 750,000-gallon steelstandpipe. The work for "Contract 2: Tippett Road Booster Pump Station" includes a 40 HP duplex packaged booster pump station with 50 Kw Standby Generator, Automatic Transfer Switch, SCADA panel, electrical work, chain link fencing, and site work, approximately 200 linear feet of 12" inlet/outlet main and a 12" altitude valve and vault at the new Junny Rd. tank site, a 12" altitude valve installed at the existing Town of Angier Wake County elevated tank site, and approximately 700 linear feet of 12" transmission main for the Tippett Road Booster Pump Station. Bidders must be licensed contractors in the State of North Carolina for the type of work required. Bids will be received on a unit cost and lump sum price basis as described in the Contract Documents. The work is to commence within 15 days after the Date of Contract. Completion of the work is as required in the contract documents. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Construction Performance Bond and a Construction Payment Bond as security for the faithful performance and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the total Bid must accompany each Bid. No Bid may be withdrawn within a period of 60 days after the date fixed for opening Bids. The Owner reserves the right to select alternatives, to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional Bids.
