Scope includes intercepting existing branch circuits and running new wiring to existing lighting and controls and new cabling to existing fire alarm devices. A. The Work under the Contract consists of 1. All Work either shown on the Drawings or included in the Specifications unless specifically indicated as not to be done. 2. The Project shall consist of, but not limited to: It was discovered during a recent roofing project that existing electrical and fire alarm wiring is in a non-compliant location above the roof deck and concealed below the roof insulation. The project includes abandoning the existing wiring, to allow the roofing project to continue, and installation of new branch circuit wiring within the building. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing and paying for a construction administration software application to be used by all participants on the Project at no cost. B. In addition, the Work under the Contract includes: 1. Work outside the Project Site as called for in the Contract Documents and as required for the performance of the Work. 2. The restoration of any items damaged or destroyed by encroaching upon areas outside the Project Site. 3. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities. General Bids and Sub-bids Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Deposit That is Not Less Than Five (5%) of the Great- Est Possible Bid Amount (Including All Alternates) and Made Payable to the City of Methuen.
