Upgrade/Modernize four (4) existing elevators, one each in four (4) ventilation buildings. 1. Current Hollister Whitney Machine 2. Current GAL components 2. Refurbish existing cabs, leave existing rails 3. Refurbish door frame entrances and door operating equipment 1. Concrete Sill and Door Frame work on various stops 4. New Elevator Controls, motor, brake, governor, ropes, etc. 5. Add New Elevator Landing 1. New elevator access door at new landing. 2. New ó" landing concrete slab over Geofoam System. 3. New Access Door into lower plenum. All project work shall be completed within 730 calendar days from the Notice of Proceed. AWARD OF CONTRACT The District reserves the right to reject or cancel this solicitation and any or all bids, waive any information and irregularities in the bidding; to accept or reject any or all items of bid; and to accept other than the lowest bid should it be deemed to be in the best interest of the District. Liquidated Damages The damage and loss to the Owner resulting from failure of the Contractor to complete the Work within the time specified in this Contract, plus any extension of time granted, shall be as stipulated in Section 108.06 of the General Provisions, unless otherwise stated in the Special Provisions. Executed Bid Bond, in the amount of five (5) percent of the value of the bid.
