The City of Lake Forest ("City") is soliciting proposals from qualified firms based on the criteria/requirements outlined in this Request for Proposal ("RFP"). The intent of this RFP is to obtain the best qualified, responsible firm to perform Walden Ravine Design Engineering Services. The purpose of the RFP is to select a professional engineering firm to provide the City with engineering services to complete Walden Ravine Design. This request for engineering services involves the design of needed repairs to the ravine reaches within the upper reach of the Walden Ravine. Professional engineering services for the Walden Ravine Design will include, but are not limited to, site review, surveying, wetland assessment, regulatory requirement review, permitting, structural and/or geotechnical engineering as determined to be necessary, development of all construction documents, development of cost estimates, construction bid support, and construction phase support. Additionally, the selected firm will be expected to collaborate with City staff which may include, but is not limited to, the Public Works Department (to include the Engineering Section). The firm may also be required to present designed plans to City Boards and Commissions which may include, but are not limited to, the Public Works Committee, Finance Committee, and City Council.
