Ojibwe Charter School is accepting bids for the removal of old bleachers and the installation of new bleachers in the gymnasium. 1. Specifications and plans are to be considered as the minimum accepted standard. Alternates will be accepted for evaluation only. The primary bid shall be as specified in these documents. 2. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids; to waive any informalities therein; or to award the contract to other than the lowest bidder, which is in the best interest of the school. We reserve the right to delay the opening of bids. 3. Contractor shall submit appropriate documents of insurance (certificates of accord); workers compensation, liability, coverage pertaining to vehicles, property damage and public liabilities, personal injury, etc., and shall hold the school district blameless in any incident involving the contractor, his employees, his equipment, and vehicles. 1. Modification of the bleachers is to be done by the contractor. Any wall patching and painting necessary after the process is completed will be done by the school. 2. Remove existing bleachers and install one (1) new bank of telescopic bleachers up to 65' long and 8' deep made up of three (3) sections each with four (4) rows, and two walkways. Provide up-to-date and to-code railings and accessories. Will need a removable score table with electrical access in the center below the first row. Either manual (if available) or electrically powered bleachers are OK. 3. Upon completion, lubricate, test, and adjust each unit to operate easily. Clean the stands on exposed surfaces. Touch-up finishes restoring damaged or soiled areas. 4. Remove all construction related debris from the site.
