As of May 22, 2024, This project has been awarded to Construction Masters Services LLC, with the awarded amount of $499,462.25. The project consists of furnishing all material, labor, equipment and appurtenances for the construction of a new stream culvert on Oley Turnpike Road. The proposed project consists of 100' of 60" diameter HDPE pipe; two large cast-in-place concrete end walls; 260' of 18" diameter HDPE storm sewer; four (4) precast storm sewer structures; 1,200 SY of full depth bituminous pavement resto- ration; 325' of guiderail, and erosion and sediment controls. An Alternate Bid Item is included for the construction of a Friction Course. The Proposal for the Oley Turnpike Road Culvert Replacement Project shall be accompanied by cash, money order, a certified or cashier's good faith check or a bond with corporate surety in the amount of at least 10% of the total Proposal. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bonds in the amount of 100% of the total contract amount, said bonds to be that of an approved surety company authorized to transact business in the Common- wealth of Pennsylvania. A Certificate of Insurance showing proof of liability insurance and worker's compensation insurance must also be pro- vided, as specified in the bid documents. The anticipated Notice to Proceed date is June 3, 2024 or sooner. The work needs to be completed when Exeter School District is not in session for the summer. The project must be completed within seventy- five (75) calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. Exeter Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to accept or reject any and all Bids or portions thereof and to delete projects and/or portions of projects based upon budget constraints.
