Convert Traffic Signals from pedestal mounted to mast arms at the intersection of Route 66 and Barranca Avenue. Installation of protected Left Turn Phasing at the intersections of Gladstone St & Sunflower Ave, Juanita Ave & Sunflower Ave, and Gladstone St & Valley Center Ave. Addition of high visibility crosswalk. Upgrade PPB to APS pedestrian button as needed. Upgrade and install new signal controller and cabinet as needed. Upgrade conduits, signal wires and rewired signal as needed. Upgrade to Video Detection System. Deadline for questions and objections: Tuesday April 04, 2024, at 5:00 PM PST The scope of the service shall include preparing preliminary drawings, design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for the traffic signal improvements of the following intersections: (1) Route 66 and Barranca Avenue (2) Gladstone Street and Sunflower Avenue (3) Juanita Avenue and Sunflower Avenue (4) Gladstone Street and Valley Center Avenue Consultant shall inspect the existing traffic signals, controller, cabinet, wiring, pedestrian push button, signs, crosswalk, and any other deficiencies. The findings of the inspections shall be used in recommendation for traffic signal modification options. Consultant shall consider NPDES requirements for drainage and hazardous material storage The designed drawings shall show the proposed traffic signal modifications and incorporate the items in Exhibit "A." The following items of work are to be included: 1. Convert Traffic Signals from pedestal mounted to mast arms at the intersection of Route 66 and Barranca Avenue 2.
