BThe scope of work for the project shall include electrical engineering and construction for upgrading the electrical and mechanical systems at the City of Lewisville Whippoorwill lift station. Questions Due Date: Jul 9th 2024, 2:00 PM CDT A. The scope shall include engineering for upgrading the Electrical and Mechanical systems at the City of Lewisville Whippoorwill Lift Station. B. The scope shall include a new 200 kW diesel generator and automatic transfer switch. The work shall include a new concrete pad. C. The scope shall include demolition of the existing MCC and the electrical conduit and wiring. The scope shall include new electrical equipment conduit and wire for the lift station. The pumps are existing two speed motors for all three pumps, two 75 hp and one 150 hp pump. The 150 hp pump shall have the propane engine and right angle gear box removed. The MCC shall be replaced with a new distribution panelboard and individual starters. Both the distribution panelboard and the starters will be in NEMA 12 enclosures. D. The scope shall new lighting panelboards, and lighting transformer. The new equipment shall have metering to comply with the SCADA system. E. The scope shall include revisions to the existing SCADA system to incorporate new pump control logic and power metering. The existing Motorola ACE will be returned to the City for spare parts and a new Motorola ACE installed that has I/O cards for the new and existing points and programming for lift station operation. F. The scope shall include design for a new ventilation system to replace the existing system which has corrosion issues. The new ventilation system will be designed to ventilate the dry pit per code for hazardous areas. G. The scope shall include new wet well level instrumentation. The instrumentation scope will also include new gas detection system for the dry pit. The existing video surveillance system shall be removed and reinstalled. H. The arc flash and coordination study will be furnished by the Engineer. Make all protective device settings and directed by the Engineer.
