Renovation and addition to an educational facility in Lafayette, Indiana. Completed plans call for the addition of a 7,267-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; and for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project will include a 1-story a life skills and special ed addition of 4,867 sqft and renovation of approximately 2,400 sqft of adjoining existing area. The project must be substantially completed, as determined by the architect, by August 1, 2025. (No exceptions) Work of the Contract comprises general construction, including mechanical, plumbing and electrical, SCOPE: A. The contractor shall furnish short-circuit and protective device coordination studies as prepared by Square D Engineering Services, Midwest Electrical Consultants of Tinley Park, IL, Pioneer Power Group, MSE USA of Naperville, IL. B. The contractor shall furnish an Arc Flash Hazard Analysis Study per the requirements set forth in the current version of NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace. The arc flash hazard analysis shall be performed according to the IEEE Standard 1584 2018, the IEEE Guide for Performing Arc-Flash Calculations. C. The scope of the studies shall include new distribution equipment supplied by Square D Company under this contract.
