New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) on behalf of the City of New York (the City) is pleased to release a request for proposals (RFP) seeking proposals from qualified parties for the long-term lease and development of two vacant parcels into a mixed-income residential project of the southern parcels of the New Stapleton Waterfront on the North Shore of Staten Island. The parcels, B4 and B5 (Block 487, a part of Lot 100) (the Site), of the southern phase offer approximately 5.5 acres of land and 243,000 square feet across both lots. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Respondents may submit questions and/or request clarifications from NYCEDC no later than 5:00 PM ET on Thursday, May 9, 2024. Questions regarding the subject matter of this RFP should be directed to Stapleton2024@edc.nyc. Answers to questions will be posted on a rolling basis, with the last answers posted by Thursday, May 23, 2024, to This project has Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) participation goal of 25-35%, and all respondents will be required to submit an M/WBE Participation Proposal with their response.
