The School Board of Hampton City Schools (HCS) of Hampton is seeking bids from responsible and responsive bidders to provide fire alarm and fire suppression systems monitoring and inspection services. Scope of Contract The purpose of the ITB is to solicit bids to establish a one (1) year contract with the option to renew for four (4) successive one (1) year periods with a qualified contractor to provide Fire Alarm and Suppression Monitoring and Inspection Services. For each renewal period, fees may be increased with any such increase limited to the lesser of (a) the percentage change in the current Consumer Price Index for all urban customers (CPI-U) or (b) three percent (3%). The contractor shall be responsible for notifying HCS, in writing, prior to the renewal date for any increases for each renewal period. Questions: Bidders must submit questions regarding this Invitation to Bid in writing to the Issuing Office via email to swilson@hampton.gov no later than April 2, 2024 at 3:00 PM EST. Necessary replies will be issued to all bidders as addenda that shall become part of the contract documents. Oral instructions do not form a part of the bid documents. The School Board of the City of Hampton Hereafter Referred to as "HCS", Reserves The Right to Accept or Reject Any and All Bids in Whole or in Part and Waive Any Informalities in the Bidding Process. Further, HCS Reserves the Right to Enter Into Any Contract Deemed to Be in Its Best Interest.
