Site work for a water / sewer project in Edna, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of rehabilitation of two (2) sewage lift stations for Jackson County WCID No. 2 in Vanderbilt, Texas. Lift Station Rehabiliation Project. The Owner may make changes in the scope of work required to be performed by the Contractor under the Contract without relieving or releasing the Contractor from any obligations under the Contract or any guarantee given pursuant to the Contract provisions, and without affecting the validity of the guaranty bonds, and without relieving or releasing the surety or sureties of said bonds. All such work shall be executed under the terms of the original Contract unless it is expressly provided otherwise. Additionally, all such change orders must be approved by TxCDBG prior to execution of same. Estimate: $250,000 A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid [for those contracts that exceed $100,000]. A certified check or bank draft payable to the owner or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. 1. Rehabilitation of Lift Station No. 1 & 2. 2. Add emergency generator and automatic transfer switch. 3. By-Pass pumping The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
