The project is expected to be awarded on June 9th** The Harrison Street Improvements Project includes the construction of approximately 1232 ft of PCC curb, 240 PCC mountable curb, 338 ft of 8" storm conduit, 732 ft of 12" storm conduit, 12 curb stormwater catch asins, 3258 sq. yds. AC planning, 292 cubic yds. AC leveling course, 184 cubic yds. AC surface course, and 157 sq. yds. full depth pavement repair including subgrade compaction and AC leveling course as well as other miscellaneous items. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates, encouragement of Section 3 and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) utilization, various insurance requirements, and various equal Employment opportunity provisions. Engineer's estimate of probable cost of construction for the Harrison Street Improvements Project is $486,589.00 (four hundred eighty six thousand, five hundred eighty nine dollars and no cents). Bid Guaranty Bond in the amount of 100% of the Bid amount or by a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the amount of the Bid, subject to conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security, furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Bid bonds shall be accompanied by Proof of Authority of the official or agent signing the bond.
