The Riveraine School Service Center does not undertake to accept any of the submissions. CONTRACT LENGTH This contract begins on July 1 , 2024 and ends on June 30, 2025, plus the option of three (3) subsequent years, namely, from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026, from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027 and from July 1 , 2027 to June 30, 2028. 1.1.1.Description of the mandate The Riveraine School Service Center wishes to obtain the services of a project manager with succession to ensure the management and monitoring of maintenance projects for its buildings, in all stages, from the front -project until commissioning. The replacement will act as a replacement in the event of absence or departure of the assigned resource. The nature and scale of the projects concerned varies and may include in particular: Repair of roofs, windows and exterior coverings; Repair of parking lots, docks and schoolyards; Repair of floors, walls, ceilings, lighting and washrooms; Repair of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems; Construction of new buildings or expansion of existing buildings; Other mandates related to the activities of the material resources department. 1.1.2.Task description As part of the management of the projects entrusted to it, the main responsibilities and functions of the resource provided by the service provider are as follows: Assist the Material Resources Department staff and establishment managers in defining needs and managing building maintenance work; Ensure communications with external professional firms and contractors regarding required archive drawings, stage drawings, as-built drawings and any other relevant documentation; Participate in start-up meetings, site visits, site meetings and commissioning to represent the service center; Check plans and quotes, tender documents, choices of materials, color and accessories; Carry out periodic site visits and participate in the approval and monitoring of modifications; Assist in the control and monitoring of budgets, schedules and contracts with professionals and contractors; Carry out on-site measurements and verifications of existing developments and carry out the occasional surveys to be carried out; Classify drawings, correspondence, project documents and archives related to buildings (both in their paper and digital versions); Update asset and capital project information in the centralized management system. 1.1.3. Profile sought Training The proposed resources must at least hold a bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering. OR hold a college diploma in architectural technology, building (mechanical) engineering technology, civil engineering technology Experience The proposed resources must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the construction field, including one (1) year of experience in project management in this field. Know-how and interpersonal skills The resources sought must: - Know the laws, regulations, standards, codes and practices related to construction; - Be able to read and understand quotes, drawings and documents related to construction; - Be able to communicate easily in French orally and in writing; - Demonstrate autonomy, team spirit and a keen sense of organization; - Have a neat appearance and a polite and respectful attitude; - Demonstrate attention to detail and rigor in file management.
