Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a residential development in Endicott, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; for site work for a residential development; and for asbestos abatement for a residential development.
Asbestos Demolition and Limited Site Work No proposals will be considered unless it is accompanied by a bid guarantee, which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid for the total work to be done. At the option of the Bidder, the guarantee may be a certified check, bank draft, negotiable US Government bonds (at par value), or a bid bond approved by the Corporation Counsel. Certified check or bank draft must be payable to the order of the Owner. Cash deposits will not be accepted. The Bid Guarantee shall insure the execution of the Agreement and the furnishing of the surety bond or bonds by the successful Bidder, all as required by the Contract Documents. The Broome County Land Bank reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to award the contract in the best interests of the Broome County Land Bank. Successful bidder shall begin work on approximately May 1, 2024 and be substantially completed on or before May 24, 2024. Contract for work under this bid obligates the Contractor, Subcontractor and any Sub subcontractors not to discriminate in employment practices.
