The project consists of constructing, supplying, and installing 97,688 SY Milling, 4,884 SY Type 1 Base repair, 400 tons leveling course and 9,141 Tons of 9.5 MM Superpave and a Unit price for Type 2 Base Repair. All pavement markings: including and not limited to, double yellow line, stop bars, crosswalks, turn lanes, school zones and all markings associated with intersections per online specifications. All quantities are approximate and for informational purposes. All documents and details are available at Online. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of Tredyffrin Township, or a Bid Bond in favor of Tredyffrin Township, in the amount of 10 % of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. This project will require a performance bond of 100%. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, must be paid to workmen employed on this project. No bid may be withdrawn within Five (5) days of the date of the bid opening. Tredyffrin Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
No oral interpretations of the meaning of the Contract Documents made to any prospective Bidder by any
person will be binding upon the Owner to any extent or for any purpose, and may not be relied upon by any
prospective Bidder. Every request for such interpretation should be submitted electronically in the
"Questions" tab on the PennBid website.
To be given consideration, each request must be received by 03/28/2022 by (10:00 AM). Any and all such
interpretations and any supplemental instructions will be given in the form of written Addenda to the Bid
