Contractor is advised that all other improvements shown on the plan including drainage pipes, structures and rip rap will be done by others. sealed bids will be received by the TOWNSHIP OF BERKELEY for the BERKELEY GRADING & DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS AT THE PUBLIC WORKS COMPLEX in TOWNSHIP OF BERKELEY, OCEAN County, New Jersey. NO BIDS ARE TO BE PICKED UP AT THE ENGINEER'S OFFICE OR AT THE MUNICIPALITY OFFICES. PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED PRIOR TO OBTAINING SAID SPECIFICATIONS. Bid shall also be accompanied by a certificate letter from a surety company stating that it will provide the bidder with the completion bond. The award of the contract shall be made subject to the necessary moneys to do the work being provided by the Township Of Berkeley in a lawful manner. The contract to be executed by the successful bidder will provide that it shall not become effective until the necessary moneys to do the work have been provided by the Township Of Berkeley in a lawful manner. The award shall further be subjected to the securing of necessary State, Federal or Local permits governing the work.
