Renovation of a residential development in Newark, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

The Finger Lakes DDSO is soliciting bids for a Generator & Transfer Switch Installation at our Church St 508 IRA located at 508 Church St, Newark, NY 14513. This is a NYS public works project and prevailing wages must be paid. To request an invitation for bid, reference the location and project title on company letterhead, including a current email address and or fax number. Via fax 585-461-8811 Attention: Franchesca Sagen or email to Fl.Purchasing@opwdd.ny.gov. It is not required that we be notified ahead of time of your intent to attend the site visit. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Contract term: 30 days after completion of project Generator and Transfer Switch Installation at Residence. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural / engineered drawings. Work is to be completed within 90 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of Generator Installation, before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent. Question Deadline 04/05/2024 Any questions not asked at the site visit must be submitted in writing to FL.Purchasing@opwdd.ny.gov within 2 business of the site visit. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Furnish materials and labor to Completely Install the Generator and Transfer Switch System as per engineered drawings by: Patriot Designs Dated 12-1-23, Electrical and Plumbing (GAS) 2. Upon completed installation, vendor must complete "Installation/Pre-Startup Check Sheet" and submit to Emergency Power Systems (EPS). A technician will be assigned to the job to review the work and start-up of generator for warranty purposes. 3. Vendor must also contact Pathfinder Engineers & Architects, LLP for review of services performed. 4. All work to be inspected by: Middle Department Inspection @ (585) 454-5191, or Atlantic Inland @ 607-753-7118 and Inspection documents must be submitted to the DDSO contact listed above. 5. No splicing of service conductors is allowed in the system. Lug to lug connections are strictly enforced. 6. Panels must be re-wired as sub-panels for isolating neutrals. 7. All work to be done per New York State, Federal Regulations, and 2023 NEC code. 8. Test and tune equipment for optimal performance. Submit startup documentation for warranty verification. 9. Generator and Transfer switch to be picked up by vendor @ Newark Transportation Building, Newark, NY. 10. No payment will be processed until all necessary documentation and inspections are satisfactorily on file. 11. Work to be completed and invoiced within 90 days of receipt of Purchase Order
