Bay County Department of Water & Sewer is requesting Bids for the construction of WWTP Sludge Storage Tanks - Repairs The project includes the structural repairs of the south sludge storage tank, including epoxy injection of concrete cracks, concrete patch repairs of spalled and delaminated cast-in-place concrete, and replacement of existing precast concrete roof planks. The bidding will also include the following bid alternates for the south tank, to be potentially included in the final scope of work at the Owner's sole discretion (upon review of the bid prices): application of silane-based sealant to entirety of the roof exterior surface, application of hot-poured rubber sealant on roof structure joints, and application of thin-set concrete patching to select precast concrete roof planks. The structural repairs of the north tank are also planned to be included as a bid alternate. The general scope of structural repairs for the south tank is similar to project scope outlined above for north tank. The date the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Bids will only be considered if submitted by qualified Contractors. Qualified Contractors will have a minimum of 5 years of experience performing municipal projects of similar scope and scale for local, state, or federal government agencies/entities. Qualified Contractors will be able to produce three (3) references, upon request of the Owner. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The Bay County Department of Water & Sewer reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Bay County Department of Water & Sewer.
