The City of Emeryville ("City") is seeking a design consultant ("Consultant") to complete the conceptual design and preliminary cost estimate for street improvements on Powell Street from W. Frontage Road west to the end of the Emeryville Marina, including protected bike lanes, wider sidewalks, and other streetscape improvements that may include wayfinding, green infrastructure opportunities, and public art. This project is anticipated to be delivered in tandem with the Powell Street Sewer realignment project (CIP # 24511013). The City believes an urban design firm with an engineering sub-consultant would be the best fit for the project to produce a 35% design.
