Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Raymore, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
As of May 7th, 2024 this project is pending an award decision still. Installation of approximately 150 ft x 10 ft of geo grid surfacing from the parking lot to the lake shore for stocking and a 50 ft x 10 ft concrete ramp into the lake for maintenance boats. Project questions: All questions regarding the bidding of this project must be submitted to Kim Quade, CPPB, City of Raymore, Purchasing Specialist at (816) 892-3045 or (kquade@raymore.com). All questions must be received (3) days prior to the bid opening. Johnston Lake is a CAP (Community Access Program) Lake owned by the City of Raymore, Parks and Recreation Department. As part of the CAP agreement, the Missouri Department of Conservation stocks the lake with fish and the City also participates in the trout stocking program. Currently, there is no access for the stocking truck to reach the lake. Hatchery staff must net fish out of the truck (in the parking lot) and put them in wheelbarrows to transport them to the dock on the lake and release them. This causes stress on the fish and could result in mortality. Maintenance boats have difficulty in reaching the water from the shore to provide maintenance on the fountain and treat aquatic vegetation.
